The City of San Antonio and the businesses along the Riverwalk have gone to great length to ensure there is very good disability access at many locations along the river. Elevators and ramps are located at many points to provide access for all who want to visit.
There are elevators at the following locations:
- Rivercenter Mall
- The Grand Hyatt Hotel
- The Convention Center
- The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce
- The corner of Commerce Street and Losoya
- Inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel
- Outside the Hyatt Regency Hotel
- Next to Hard Rock Cafe
- At the Aztec Theatre

If you are looking to rent a wheelchair, power scooter or other device pleas contact Tom’s Wheelchairs. They have a downtown San Antonio location and do delivery of power chairs and scooters to downtown hotels and other locations. They are online at www.tomswheelchairs.com.
If you are looking for a convenient place to park with access to ride the Go Rio Cruises river boats we recommend you park in the covered parking garage at the Shops at Rivercenter Mall. There are elevators there and a Go Rio Cruise ticket and boarding location. To visit the Shops at Rivercenter Mall website click here. From the parking garage at the mall, take the elevators down to the river level and exit the food court area of the mall to the river. The Go Rio Cruises ticket and boarding location is directly across from the Margaritaville restaurant. The Go Rio Cruises river boats are fully handicap accessible. Tickets can be purchased on their website or at their location.
