Día de los Muertos (Muertos Fest) returns to Hemisfair for its 10-Year Anniversary with a FREE two-day festival on October 28 and 29. San Antonio’s beloved Día de los Muertos cultural event has become one the nation’s top destinations to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Listed as one of the “7 Best Fall Festivals in the USA” by National Geographic, Muertos Fest merges traditional Día de los Muertos elements with local art, food, live music and entertainment.

Festivities will include a multi-stage lineup of live bands, dance and poetry performances; the largest open altar exhibition in San Antonio; an arts market featuring original Day of the Dead crafts and artwork; a lively drum dance and puppet procession; workshops; children’s programming and more.
