2022 Caroling Boats are on sale now. 

Sing in the holidays by Caroling with friends and family from a boat on the River Walk. Celebrate the timeless tradition of spreading joy with a San Antonio twist.

The public is encouraged to enjoy the caroling for free from the banks of the river or while seated on a restaurant patio. Experience the sounds of the season as caroling boats float along the river in the downtown area.  See the caroling route map posted in the photo gallery. Boats randomly stop at restaurants.

Ford Holiday Boat Caroling is held:

December 1st – 15th (Monday-Thursday): $125

Group A: 6:00-7:00 PM

Group B: 7:15-8:15 PM

December 1st -15th (Friday-Sunday): $150

Group A: 6:00-7:00 PM

Group B: 7:15-8:30 PM

Group C: 8:30-9:30 PM

December 16th – 23rd (Monday-Thursday): $150

Caroling boats are decorated with lights and holiday bling and include a driver, a USB loaded with popular Christmas music, and folders with music lyrics.

• The rental of a Caroling Boat is a charter for GROUPS of up to 15, not a per-person rate
• Boats are decorated with lights and holiday bling, cost includes a driver, a USB loaded with popular holiday music and songbook folders – folders are to remain on the boat for others to use – you can bring your own music on a USB or Bluetooth to the onboard speaker
• Boat capacity is 15 people or 3,000 lbs – please account for large oversized or heavy instruments 
• Caroling time slots are approximately 1 hour, arriving late for your boat will interfere with your caroling time
• Larger groups may book multiple boats during the same time slot as available
• We recommend dressing in festive attire
• Check-in and boat departure is on the river level of the International Building at 203 S. St. Mary’s, San Antonio, TX 78205
• Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled boat departure
• We urge you to allow ample time to park, walk, and check-in

Caroling boats book quickly. Book early to secure your preferred date and time. Seven caroling boats are slated for each of the time slots above. Larger groups may book multiple boats during the same time slot as available.

Other types of festive holiday music such as mariachis, bell-ringers, and bands are also welcome to book a caroling boat.

Cancellation Policy for Holiday Boat Caroling

More than 14 days prior to event day: $25 service fee

7-14 days prior to event day: $50 service fee

Less than 7 days: no refund

Caroling Individual Tickets:  Weekends December 1st – 23rd
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (2-time slots per night): $15 per person

If available, tickets may be purchased on-site for $20 per person

Important Information:

• INDIVIDUALS tickets are seats on a Community Caroling Boat
• Individuals who arrive late and miss the Community Caroling Boats will not be refunded
• We recommend dressing in festive attire
• Check-in and boat departure is on the river level of the International Building at 203 S. St. Mary’s, San Antonio, TX 78205
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled boat departure
• We urge you to allow ample time to park, walk, and check-in
• You will receive a confirmation email upon booking your ticket with a copy of the Rules and Guidelines and the Float Rider Waiver form
• INDIVIDUAL TICKET CANCELATION POLICY: Cancellations must be in writing via e-mail: events@visitsanantonio.com and include your confirmation number and phone number, cancellations will not be taken via phone. If you cancel your ticket reservation more than two weeks (14 days) prior to your scheduled date, there will be a $5 + fees service charge deducted from your refund. If you cancel less than 14 days, but more than a calendar week, from your scheduled date, there will be a $10 + fees service charge deducted from your refund. If you cancel less than one calendar week from your scheduled date, there will be NO REFUND.
